Ringling College Library Association has appointed new members to its board of directors, which guides and oversees the organization’s mission and strategic planning.
Joining the board under the director of new board president, Jay Logan, are Ashley Brown, Executive president of the Women’s Resource Center; Brian Mariash, senior vice president of Mariash Lowther Wealth Management; Allen Carlson regional director of UF Innovation Station; and Kelley Lavin, group publisher of Sarasota Magazine, 941 CEO, and Venice Magazine. Each will serve a three-year term.
Jim Roque will continue in his role as Treasurer. Newly appointed officers include Emily Walsh serving as vice president, Mitzie Henson serving as secretary and Becky Mahoney serving as past president. The two-year appointments begin immediately. Returning board members are Sue Gross, Christine Cremer, Kathleen France, Jennifer Huber, Erin Christy, Renee Eppard, Cindy Stuhley, Linda Whitacre, Patrick Duggan, Ashley Hawkins, and Michael Forson. Ringling College of Art and Design President Larry Thompson, and Director of Library Services Kristina Keogh serve as ex-officio members of the board.
