The Alfred R. Goldstein Library, a state-of-the-art building that seeks to transform the way that visitors engage with research, learning, discovery, and creativity, officially opened in January 2017. You are invited to join us for an in depth introduction to the library’s Special Collections and a tour of the new facility by Kristina Keogh, Director of Library Services and Janelle Rebel, Special Collections Librarian. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with a selection of unique and rare objects from the library’s Brizdle Shoenberg Special Collections Center. Following this, your tour will focus on the library’s multiple quiet and collaborative work, research, and technology spaces. You will also learn more about how Ringling College’s students have impacted the design of the spaces and how students are continuing to use the spaces in new ways. | CURRENT MEMBERS ONLY: FREE (max 100 per session) Reservations required.
