Jean Renoux, an expert in European History, Art, Architecture and French Literature, was born in France and spent most of his childhood in Tunisia. Returning to France as a young man, he worked as the personal assistant to Louis Malle, the famed movie director. After moving to the U.S. Jean worked as production designer on films shot in Florida and Mexico. He produced the play The Human Voice by Jean Cockteau in New York City and was an interior designer. Jean moved to Sarasota 36 years ago after living in London, Geneva, Washington DC and New York. He frequently presents informative and engaging lectures on engaging topics and will give a 90 minute talk on Picasso and His Women.
