SARASOTA, Fla. — NFL legend Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski is gearing up to cover Super Bowl LIX. But before he hops a flight to New Orleans, he made a stop in the Tampa Bay area to share his prediction for the big game.

Gronk told stories from his 11-season football career and beyond to crowds in Sarasota as part of the Ringling College Library Association’s Town Hall series.

He spoke about his first time meeting Tom Brady, growing up with four pro-athlete brothers and his decision to play his last two NFL seasons with Tampa Bay.

According to the tight end, the Buccaneers’ more laidback style was what he needed to finish out his career after becoming an NFL great and three-time Super Bowl champ under the discipline and expertise of Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.

Plus, Gronk said he couldn’t resist a chance to soak up the Florida sunshine with his longtime teammate Tom Brady.
